Job Title AWS DevOps Engineer Job Summary You will work on building a scalable distributed component-based AI platform including - configurable workflows, flexible APIs, advanced business intelligence, one-click deployment and roll-back, sophisticated monitoring, self-healing operation and powerful feature rich UIs. You will also integrate sophisticated omni-channel AI components including - natural language processing, transformers, neural nets, OCR, voice transcription, pattern recognition, proprietary domain model training and management. Reporting Line Sateesh Pinnamaneni, Director of Technology and Development Role Description We are looking to hire an experienced, professional and enthusiastic AWS DevOps engineer to work on a greenfield project. The role involves hands-on development and support of all aspects of our: · AWS infrastructure, including network configuration and access control · Continuous integration development environment · Build, deployment, monitoring pipeline Key Skills & Experience You must have previous extensive hands-on experience of supporting and developing multiple AWS infrastructure environments in a commercial environment. You will be a technologist motivated by what's new to ensure you're always ahead of the curve. Most of all, you'll be the kind of person willing to do whatever it takes to get the absolute best solution in any circumstance. Essential: in depth, hands-on experience of core AWS technologies including: Networking VPC Configuration / VPC Peering Route53 DNS Configuration ELB Auto Scaling Access Control IAM KMS Certificate management AWS Services EC2 CloudWatch Lambda S3 API Gateway Kinesis Experience of designing and developing continuous integration build, test and deployment environments using modern cloud-based tools and techniques including: AWS CloudFormation / Terraform AWS SAM (Serverless Application Model) GitLab Docker / Kubernetes Experience of building, device hardening and patching Linux AMIs Experience of ELK / Log-aggregation / monitoring Desirable Technical Skills GCP / Azure Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in computing, science or engineering. At least 5 years of DevOps experience in a commercial environment. Track record of delivery and support of business-critical functions with an appreciation of the full development lifecycle. Proven ability to understand both client / user requirements alongside supportability, maintainability and reliability concerns. Place and Hours of Work Working from home for a proportion of the week is acceptable but applicants should have appropriate dedicated workspace and be free from distractions. Candidates are also expected to have high speed internet connectivity and computer and peripherals appropriate for productive development and participating in high-fidelity video conference calls. Normal working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Applicants should be prepared to travel to the London office as necessary.
